Darren's song "Ghost," off of his solo record Last Drive , will appear in the new, major motion picture Feast of Love starring Morgan Freeman and Greg Kinnear. Even better, it's going to be on the soundtrack, along with songs by The Shins, Pete Yorn, and others. And the new Straw Dogs song, "When Heaven Falls" will be in an upcoming indie movie that was shot this summer in Austin, TX. Find out more at our MySpace site .

Yep, we're in the movies! Or, at least our songs are. The Straw Dogs song "Guess Again" off our most recent CD will be in the new Warren Miller film.

Straw Dogs' song "Beautiful" has earned them a showcase slot at the 8th Annual Jeff Buckley Tribute in Chicago, at the world renowned Uncommon Ground, Nov. 16-17! And tonight, we're headlining the Naked Northwest songwriter series on beautiful Vashon Island, so get a hall pass and come out to play.

Straw Dogs has been selected to showcase at MusicFest NW in Portland, Oregon! This three-day conference is the biggest of its kind in the region and runs Sept. 8-10. We'll be playing Friday night, Sept. 9 at the Dixie Tavern.
